The focus of my sim racing coverage has always been on how sim racing can be used to transition to real-world motorsport or how to use it to prepare for real-world racing. Last week, I featured a video by Lando Norris in my Sim Racing Roundup on why simulators are important, and you can watch it as part of this week's roundup.

Liberty Acquires MotoGP Commercial Rights
Finally, the Business of Motorsport was dominated by the news that Liberty Media has acquired the commercial rights to MotoGP which means they now own the commercial rights to two global motorsport franchises. In addition to this I also had details on the financial boost that Las Vegas received from their inaugural Grand Prix, IndyCar’s ongoing attempts at introducing a charter system and much more.
