The Wealthy & Resilient Kick Off was a success.

I co-hosted the 1st networking event with my friend Sharon and while some may consider it a failure because there were only 5 of us.

We considered this a huge success.

Here's why:

- Those who showed up were fully present. They connected, shared real stories and lessons so we could all learn from each other and actually relate

- We all felt connected and like we belonged somewhere

- Everyone left with takeaways, feeling happy and excited, not just from their own realizations, but also about the summit coming up

I'll be honest, I was almost teary after, feeling gratitude for the people who showed up and trusted us with their time. That meant a lot.

Sharon was buzzing like she'd just won an Emmy.

Numbers are information. You can look at them as data, figure out what to improve or do differently.

But they mean nothing when it comes to real human connection.

Smaller groups are a better opportunity to connect, make people feel like they're part of something, and actually remember each other (not only the human but also the business behind it).
