Things I gave up when I became a parent

👀 A parent-friendly business note from Amy...
For the rebels with a cause 🎸🤘⚡️
Those parents who don't want to 'sleep when the baby sleeps' and would much rather write, design, build, create, learn or upskill. ⬇️
This one goes out to you! An ode to the things I gave up when I became a parent while working remotely in 2016 [click through for the IG or LinkedIn carousel] or scroll for more.
Typing with all fingers at all times...
Waiting for others to create space for us...
Arriving on time or being 'discreet'...
Working in uninterrupted silence...
Compartmentalizing work / play / life...
Waiting to be invited to speak...
Keeping my opinions to myself...
Uncluttered backgrounds...
Getting mic'd up the traditional way...
And this is how I became an (accidental) activist, while raising our three kids over the past nine years.
What's changed for you?
If anything?
Hit 'reply', I'd love to hear it!
