✨ Pitching + Presenting With Kids | Funding News | Community Events

This week I recorded an online workshop alongside my youngest

The topic was 'Baby In The Boardroom: Pitching + Presenting With Kids' and my 6-month-old baby decided to wake up early from his nap, so I brought him with me to the session, where I covered:

  • How I prepare in the lead up to public speaking events and meetings alongside my kids
  • Things I explore to make the experience easier in advance
  • Why I show up as a parent during an event, and how you can too
  • How I rest and recharge after the event is over, including some affirmations and ideas for celebrating trying something new

I have three kids under age six and have presented while babywearing and breastfeeding in front of small groups and large crowds, brought them into business settings as toddlers and pitched in dozens of in person and online experiences since 2016.

Corporate spaces and businesses are becoming more inclusive (slowly) and I believe applying to speaking opportunities or setting up pitch meetings, showing up and being yourself as a parent, will only help expedite workplace culture and event industry changes.

This free mini workshop is available for registrants for the next 7 days as a replay – and as a member of this community, if you'd like to catch the recording you can do so here via my digital resource hub!

If you're already a member of this hub, you can login using your email and password to access it until July 29th – after that date it will be made private again for future workshops.
