If you're receiving this again, I apologize but I've realized my email only went to part of my list last Friday. #techfail

TLDR:

  • I'm looking for your messages for Season 4 of the Mixing Babies And Business™ Podcast (scroll to hit record and submit!)
  • Parent-friendly business news, events and opportunities, including funding are below (scroll down)
  • This is my life right now ⬆️ (baby is 10 weeks old tomorrow, very attached and crying as I type this...so gtg!)

P.S. I'm presenting a workshop next week with the baby, Grandma is supposed to help but right now he's feeding on demand, growing fast, teething and I'm sure it will be interesting, so stay tuned to hear my recap on how that goes.

And for those of you who missed it the first time around, here is the newsletter in full:

Almost wrapped up the fourth trimester with baby number three and this is how I #breakthebias with my current home office setup.

I have a nursing couch, change and sleep station alongside my tech supplies. 🚼📊

Much of my work is done in 10-15 increments (usually with a boob out) from my phone unless someone else can hold the baby but I’ve been able to:

I’m not commuting anywhere, meeting in person at coworking spaces or hosting parent-friendly meetups (yet) but it’s amazing what you can do with an internet connection while babywearing these days.

This past week has been March break here in Canada so all three kids have been home AND they brought the flu with them.

But Spring is almost here, days are getting longer (even though I currently go to bed by 8 p.m.!) and it's times like these where I'm grateful for flexibility, technology and adjusted expectations.

Participate in Season 4 of the Mixing Babies And Business™ Podcast!

I would LOVE to include you in the next season of the podcast launching this summer.

I'm looking for details about how you’ve been mixing babies and business over the years and any positive ways these resources have helped you.

You can record here (under 60 seconds is best):

https://www.speakpipe.com/mixingbabiesandbusiness

I can only use it if the audio is clear, so please use your phone headset or a quality computer USB mic.

Deadline: April 30, 2022

Examples of what to say:

  • Your name, your business/work role
  • How you’re mixing babies and business
  • What you love about mixing babies and business
  • What you're excited about for the future of work
  • Any positive ways these resources (events, podcast, newsletter) have helped you and your family

Thank you for your help – I’m looking forward to sharing more about you and your work as part of Season 4!
