A personal note from Amy

A NOTE  FROM AMY

Login to LinkedIn, read a traditional business book, tune into podcasts interviewing CEOs: We’ve been led to believe we can either have a thriving professional life OR be a present parent.

Most typical corporate or career advice conveniently forgets your time is not your own. It belongs to the tiny humans you're raising, while you attempt to fit everything in around them.

Which looks and feels like constantly multitasking and context switching, building your business at night or during naptimes, cramming a 9-5 synchronous schedule into school hours and opting out of corporate spaces and events held during weekday mornings or evenings altogether.

Common business advice and professional development offerings have been built upon a care system relying on invisible labour, so people can ‘do the work'.

But you are that invisible infrastructure. I am you. You are me.

I've made it my mission over the past decade to test my theory:

Parenthood and career growth don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

And in doing so, I've learned two things can be true at the same time: You can show up (with your kids), do the work and achieve things alongside them, but it requires a different approach.

Think unconventional. Intuitively led. Sustainable momentum. Disruptive and empathetic. Grounded in a regulated nervous system.

Where messy progress and simple strategies meet your current reality, so you can gain momentum without sacrificing what matters most to you.

👀 You might have missed this...

To continue offering parent-friendly professional development in 2026, I'm reopening the doors to the Mixing Babies And Business™ Community.

An online portal and community designed exclusively for YOU: For trailblazing parents ready to invest in themselves alongside their loved ones.

Inside this space, you’ll find:

  • Innovative approaches, micro business trainings at your fingertips and relatable resources, so that you can achieve your own version of success while being present for your family
  • An intentional ‘on demand’ experience, supported by inclusive and optional live meetups and coworking sessions, because parenthood can be lonely, even though you're rarely alone
  • Focused on both the inner and outer work, so that we can address who you're being in the moment as well as what you're doing
  • Candid advice based on my lived experiences and real-life experiments, centered around your current reality as a parent of young kids, for those seeking flexibility and career growth, without winging it all of the time

No 10x hypergrowth, scale at all costs, pulling all nighters or miracle mornings here. Energetic management, co-regulation and being your own best advocate are tools which will enable you to thrive now and beyond your season of raising little ones.

I'll be closing the doors in between quarterly live online events, in order to focus on serving community members. If you sign up and decide it's not for you, members can cancel at any time, no questions asked. You can always rejoin in future at the advertised price at that point in time.

If you'd like to learn more or have questions, the Community FAQs section is here or you can reply to this email and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Regardless of what you decide, if you're reading this I know we have things in common because you likely found me as you're also passionate about raising your kids without it becoming your sole identity AND doing work you care about, without having to pretend you're not a parent.

You want to lead by example. Start as you mean to go on. Make progress. Move beyond your comfort zone.

For that, I'm celebrating you. You may also be interested in watching this free workshop replay to learn more about my methods and approaches to showing up (with kids).

Thank you for reading, supporting this work and becoming part of a social impact movement that's making waves in business spaces and corporate cultures.
