I’m going to say something (again) most people won’t tell you:

Parenthood and career growth don't have to be mutually exclusive...BUT you do need a different approach.

Bless this postpartum version of myself who decided to show up and present on in person stages, virtual events and launch a podcast from home. It's soon going to be International Women's Day 2026, which means...

🎙️You may be asked to speak for free by an organization which has budget for catering, venue hire and decor (and you don't have to say yes)

💌 You may be invited to an IRL event which may or may not be practical for you to attend (early morning breakfast, after work drinks/networking or you simply have your kid(s) with you)

📢 Visibility and sharing lived experiences matters, this session is an example of times when I've shown up, spoken on stages and advocated for my needs as a parent (messy, imperfect, with a babbling baby)

For a watch party with or without your kids (under 30 minutes, full of practical tips and resources) nearly a month ahead of IWD (to help you prepare for the influx of event invites).

This event is designed to prepare you to explore similar opportunities:

• It's pre-recorded (not going live but still valid and I'll be here to answer Q&A)
• Presented alongside our youngest kid at six months old and
• Sadly covers a lot of points which are STILL issues to inclusion, accessibility and belonging in business spaces and programming in 2026
