Hey !
Last Sunday night at Marcy Vineyard was Holy Spirit Night, and what a night it was!
Worship was dynamic, prayers were passionate, and God moved among us in powerful ways. It was wonderful!
One of the messages that seems to be reoccurring during this season is a challenge to tune our attention to the Father.
If we're really honest, most of us would admit that we're tuned in pretty intently right now.
We're tuned in to the coronavirus. We're tuned in to racial protests. We're tuned in to elections, the economy, and all the things that the news tells us is supposed to capture our attention right now.
But we're not all that tuned in to Jesus.
But God says in Exodus 34:14 that He is jealous for our relationship with Him. He wants to speak to us, draw near to us, and keep us close. In Him is peace, rest, and life.
But we love to give our attention to other things. We give it to social media, the news, and the things that we believe will make us happy.
So, my challenge is to tune in to the Father. Sacrifice some of your attention to earthly things and spend some time in worship. Talk to God. He wants to do amazing things in and through you.
But He speaks in a still small voice. You have to tune out the other voices so that you can hear His.
What frequency are you tune into during this season? I hope it's the Kingdom's frequency. I hope you're listening to Heaven's song over you.
He has a few loving things He'd like to say to you.
See you Sunday!
