Nov 13, 2023 6:53 pm
Announcing a new program for gifted, twice exceptional and bright creators ages 5 - 17.
Located at 122 West 26th Street in Manhattan’s Chelsea/Flatiron District (and just minutes from subways and Penn Station), the Collaborative Creativity Lab NYC is a shared initiative of Kate Yourke, who has developed hands-on learning experiences for diverse student populations for more than three decades, and Melissa Sornik, LCSW whose clinical practice and programs have been supporting gifted and twice exceptional individuals and families for over 20 years.
This new program, launching in January of 2024, will be held on Saturdays and includes three 90 minute sessions each week - one for early elementary schoolers, one for tweens, and one for teens. The program provides the opportunity for participants to explore their interests and develop their abilities in a joyful, creative setting. The program welcomes neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals, and offers the support of a licensed social worker.
