2023 Wrap Up & Cthulhu for Christmas is LIVE
Dec 29, 2023 10:05 am
Hi Dear Readers!
Wow, anyone else feel like we just started 2023, and we're already almost in 2024? It's like I blinked and the year was over. I love both the beginning of a new year but also the wrap up of the old! December is always a time for me to look back on another trip around the sun. It's been a productive year, and I managed to get out three books, two audios, a re-release, and an Italian translation. I'll take it! On top of that, I've been nominated in several categories for the Goodreads M/M Romance Member Choice Awards, and I have you, my dear readers, to thank for that honor!
I've been asked by a lot of readers about when the next books in my various series are coming out, and I wanted to give you a brief overview. Keep in mind, that I write by the seat of my pants. I can't outline a book to save my life. I'm just not built like that and my muse is fickle (she'd like to be hanging out on a white sand beach somewhere drinking margaritas and Moscow mules). Having said that, for 2024 I'm planning:
- A re-release of As the Raven Flies
- The audio for As the Raven Flies
- The Italian translation for As the Raven Flies
- The audio for Cthulhu for Christmas
- A new Starfig book (Bill's story), tentatively titled: Turnabout is Fairy Play
- I have another multi-author series I'm participating in which my book will come out in July and I'm really, really excited about this one. I can't say much, except it will definitely have a bunch of your favorite fantasy/paranormal/urban fantasy MM romance authors in it.
- Either a book in Baltimore or (if my muse will cooperate) the next Verona book. I'd love to have one in both, but I'm trying not to over promise.
Happy New Year! I hope 2024 brings you all happiness, peace, and a million dollars. π

Cthulhu for Christmas is LIVE!
I'm so happy to share that Cthulhu for Christmas is available now! Until my dear friend, Chloe Archer, had asked me to participate in the multi-author series Tinsel & Tentacles, I'd never given serious thought to writing a Christmas book or a story where one of the main characters had tentacles. And combining those concepts intrigued me. As you've probably come to expect, I like taking ideas and turning them on their heads and seeing what I can come up with. This time was no different! I've posted the blurb below.
Six accidental tentacles, five naked neighbors, four evil mages, three ugly sweaters, two dead bodies, and one crush on my straight best friend . . .
Some things are simple fact: Santa Claus isn't real and magic doesnβt exist. As a former foster kid turned cop, I know this for a fact. My life is anything but magical and Santa sure as hell never visited me as a kid.
Another fact in my life: Iβve been in love with Grey Criswel, my gorgeousβand straightβbest friend, since we met. Unfortunately, heβs not going to make my secret Christmas wish come true this yearβor ever.
But before I know it, fact and fantasy are starting to get all mixed up. I thought I knew Old Bay Isle and its residents like the back of my hand. Now Iβm dealing with a bunch of naked carolers refusing to put on their damn clothes and mysterious happenings at the lighthouse. Oh, and murder. Because what says happy holidays like a corpse at a Christmas tree farm?
Worse yet, Iβm suddenly afflicted with an aquatic ailment of sorts. Namelyβtentacles. Six of them to be exact. Attached. To. My. Back. They even have their own opinions. And they all agree they want Grey. Could he maybe want themβand meβback? Things are so topsy-turvy Iβm starting to believe the impossible just might be possible because it turns out magic is real after all . . .
Cthulhu for Christmas is a standalone novel in the Tinsel and Tentacles multi-author winter holiday MM tentacle romance series. It features Zen Kingβa cop with a tentacular dilemma, a best friend with a closet full (heh) of secrets, a sharp-tongued former foster mom, a beaver for a roommate, found family, and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
