It's raining books . . . and audios!

Hi Dear Readers!

Well, when it rains it pours. Sometimes this is bad, but in this case it's very, very good news! First, thank you all for giving Cat's Chance in Hell an amazing launch and lots of love! I'm so happy with the feedback and am already thinking about the next book in the series (the first scene keeps running through my head).

Remember how I mentioned in my last newsletter potentially running a 10k this year? Well, not only did I do it (on my own) this week just to see if I could, but there's a 10k that goes right through downtown Baltimore later in the spring. I can't tell you how excited I am to spend more time in Baltimore. Every time I go, I get more fodder for my Charm City Chronicles series.

Speaking of Charm City, I have some updates below.

Cat's Chance in Hell's Audio is Done!

Cat's Chance in Hell is coming very, very soon on audio. Greg Tremblay/Boudreaux finished the final version, and I spent last weekend bingeing it. On Monday, I submitted the final files to ACX, so it is now with the Audible Gods and will (hopefully) go live within the next two weeks . . . and I'm crossing my fingers that it's sooner. As always, Greg did a fantastic job with this one. He nails Carter's voice and cadence and really showcases his vocal talents (and LOTS of accents). I'll send a brief release announcement when it comes out for those of you who--like me--are big audiobook listeners.

BLURB:

When a feline fatale meets his magical match, Baltimore might just go up in flames.

I, Carter Strike, Siamese shifter extraordinaire and a powerful demon’s right-hand cat . . .er, man, have a job to do. My boss’ boy toy is in the crosshairs of an unknown assassin. And when my boss is unhappy, all of Charm City burns.

That’s where I come in. Intel is my specialty and leads me to the doorstep of one drop-dead gorgeous but annoyingly secretive Rakshasa.

Bengal Damon-Cowles—even his name is obnoxious—runs South-West Baltimore and is nothing if not frustratingly contrary. I don’t care if he is a demi-god among shifters, I don’t need the complications from a sexy as sin Rakshasa with the utter gall to turn down a fine piece of feline-fantasy like myself. Especially when we’re forced to work together. Except, every day we spend in close proximity turns up the heat between us.

A roomful of secrets, a looming Nor’Easter, and friends with questionable—or nonexistent—morals, add gasoline to the blaze. As the stakes climb ever higher, and people start dying, I’ve got a cat’s chance in hell of coming out of this one unscorched.

Cat’s Chance in Hell is a 113k snarktastic, size difference, forced proximity, enemies-to-lovers, car-careening-out-of-control romance with a guaranteed happy ending and lots of steam. Shenanigans include: a catnapping gone very, very wrong, a hot pot incident that will go down in infamy, and a Rakshasa with more layers than a Smith Island Cake.

*Can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone, but would be more enjoyable read in order.

Demon for the Win

I am re-releasing Demon for the Win in ebook. It will be in KU. I'm also releasing it in paperback and audio. All versions will be coming your way on February 23rd with a new and much improved cover. Narrator Darcy Stark really shines in this one. It's another audio where there are so many fantastic voices to play with. ACX hasn't released the preorder yet, but should do so within a day or so. I'll send it along when I have it. I've included the preorder link for the ebook below.

BLURB:

Dryad Tuli Cato has 3 rules he lives by: No relationships, no drama, no trouble.

When a gorgeous incubus offers a night of no-strings passion, Tuli readily agrees. Only that no-strings night sure feels like a lot more.

Okay, Tuli has 2 rules he lives by: No drama, no trouble.

Being the sous chef at the most exclusive restaurant in town makes no drama a challenge. Especially when the kitchen’s in an uproar after a staff member turns up dead. Murdered.

Um, Tuli has 1 rule he lives by: No trouble.

Surely, he can stick to this 1 simple rule. . . except it turns out, he might be the murderer’s next target.

Incubus Kem Balthasar has only 1 rule he lives by: Enjoy life.

It’s a lust demon’s nature, after all. Creatures either want to be him or do him. Or maybe a bit of both.

When Kem lays eyes on a slender dryad hottie across a crowded sex club, suddenly he’s thinking of another L-word and it’s not one he ever thought he’d feel.

Okay, Kem has 2 rules he lives by: Enjoy life, romance Tuli.

Convincing the skeptical dryad that Kem’s a worthy—and faithful—partner is hard enough. But it’s even harder to date a guy who might wind up dead.

Right. Kem has 3 rules he lives by: Enjoy life, romance Tuli, and keep the little dryad safe.

Easy, right?

Demon for the Win is a 40k just-one-night, fated mates, novella set in the Much Ado about Demons world. Each book stands alone. This book contains explicit scenes, a little black book with loads of secrets, jealous trees, sex club shenanigans, and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
