Fated Mates goes live in 1 day!

Hi Dear Readers!

I'm enjoying the last few days of summer before the school year starts again and things get even more hectic than usual. We've had a banner year with our garden for a change. We've nicknamed it Darwin's Garden because you've got to fight to survive. That's pretty much the extent of our gardening prowess. This year, we went all out and put in nice raised beds, added a lovely brick path in so we could easily walk between the beds, and had this whole grand plan for it.

Then we went away for 3 weeks and came back to a veritable jungle. 🤦‍♀️

No more brick path. I mean, it was there, but we couldn't see it. 🤣 Some hybrid variety of squash (that we DID NOT plant) had taken over about 50% of one bed, and produced something that was a little like if a spaghetti squash and butternut squash decided to have children. (Picture included below with a baseball for reference). This plant had not been there when we left 3 weeks before. And suddenly we have these enormous--and not very tasty--squash. We're seriously thinking of carving one like a pumpkin for Halloween.

Anyway, besides having a plethora of freakishly mutated squash, I've been hard at work on my next stories. But more on that as they develop. In the meantime, I have some news about the Fated Mates anthology and some new releases in MM paranormal romance by other authors to share.

Fated Mates: Live in Paperback!

I'm so proud of this project and for the money we've already raised for the Fated Mates: A Paranormal Charity Anthology. We started with small goals, and I'm happy to say, we've blown them out of the water! The anthology will go live on September 1st, but you can still preorder it now if you want it to hit your kindle as soon as possible and support two great causes at the same time. Royalties will be split between the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund and the ACLU's Drag Defense Fund. There are so many great authors in this volume that I'm having a hard time not reading every last story RIGHT NOW. *Makes grabby hands*

Also, there is a paperback of the anthology . . . or actually two. The stories, uh, didn't end up so short and we couldn't fit them all in one volume. We did manage to put them into two, and, man, those volumes both have some heft. Apparently, I'm not the only fantasy writer that can't keep a short story short. And they're already live if you want to grab yours now.

Fated Mates: Teaser

I'm so ready for As the Raven Flies to be out in the world! It's hard to just sit on a story when I really want to put it in reader hands. I love the world of Baltimore and for those of you who are fans of the Charm City Chronicles series, I do finally answer the burning question: Why is coffee so damn expensive? It's actually one of the most frequently asked reader questions about this series. You ask, I deliver. 😉

A new series by Chloe Archer is coming soon! Woot! She has a story in the Fated Mates anthology that's set in Monsters Hollow if you'd like to get a sneak peek of her world before The Orc and the Manny goes live on September 22nd. I love the idea of cozy monster romance!
