Where's Meghan?

Hi Dear Readers!
It’s been a busy couple of months and I know I’ve been rather quiet as of late. A lot has been going on personally, though it’s nothing bad—just time consuming. And now I’m in prime GRL planning mode. Eek! There’s so much to do for this conference, and have I done any of it? Um, kinda. Okay, not really. But I HAVE ordered my books and Amazon just dropped off the first box. Several more to go! As you can see, I have kitty help (the LEAST helpful kind of help in existence). The glamorous life of an author, amirite?

Gay Romance Lit Conference (GRL)
Yay! GRL is almost here! And except for the last minute running around, I’m looking forward to seeing old and new friends and meeting new-to-me authors and readers. I’m going to try not to spend all my book proceeds on buying books, but that may be too lofty a goal. There are so many great authors going this year! And I’m extra excited for the narrator panel. My fave, Greg Tremblay/Boudreaux, will be there, and did I mention he’s the Emcee for my spotlight panel which includes Sam Burns, Lee Colgin, Rowan McAllister, and moi? Talk about a stellar lineup!
*Times are subject to change since the official schedule hasn’t been released yet, but I’m pretty sure my times won’t shift.

WRITING UPDATE
As I mentioned in the opening, life has been coming at me fast. This has put me waaay behind schedule in my writing. However, the good news is that Cat’s Chance in Hell is almost done. I had hoped to have it out by GRL but it looks like it will be coming out shortly afterward. I’ve already booked it with Greg and need to get it to my Italian translator soon after.
This book has surprised me in a good way. There will be some new characters
introduced who will get their happily ever afters and I’m pretty sure that
there will be another Tommy/Poe book somewhere along the way. There’s just so much afoot in Baltimore, and Charm City’s one and only murder twink is right in the thick of it.

Never fear, I haven’t forgotten about Verona (Az/Raaf) or Starfig (Bill/It’s a seekret)! I’ve been writing bits and pieces as I go along and as life settles down, I’ll have more time to work on both of them. I’m doing everything I can to bring you the best books I can write because there’s nothing worse than having a book in a series feel unfinished or be a letdown. The process takes time. Thanks for hanging in there with me and I’ll do my best to keep bringing you all books you love and characters you want to keep reading about.
CAT'S CHANCE IN HELL
It seems only fitting that I give you a If Fantasy Creatures Could Text from Cat’s Chance in Hell, since I have several text exchanges in it. I don’t want to
give too much away, but there’s a point in the book where ALL of Baltimore gets wind that Carter and Bengal are sleeping together. Needless to say, Carter’s friends, Poe and Kennedy, are eager to check in with him . . . um, to be
supportive. Or something.
And afterward Carter complains to Ollie. Poor kitty gets no sympathy. The struggle is real.
MEGHAN RECOMMENDS
These are the books I’ve been really excited to get my hands on. I’ve just picked up Sam Burns’ latest, and I've already read Chloe Archer’s debut novel. It’s so funny! Tavia Lark and Nazri Noor both have books coming out in a few days and my fingers are itching to add them to my kindle. Also, Nazri’s audiobook is coming out on the same day and Greg Tremblay/Boudreaux is narrating! 🥳
