Hi Dear Readers!

I hope you're all well and staying safe. February is always one of the longest months for me, even though it has the least amount of days. I'm sooo ready for spring. Bring on the flowers and all the new life. It doesn't help that I've had a lot on my plate this month between family and writing related activities. One good piece of news: I'm finally starting an LLC for my work that I'm calling Pun City Pantser. 😜 It seemed fitting.

This month's newsletter focuses on Your Book Boyfriend's Boyfriend. As I've mentioned, I have a story in the giveaway (more information below), but I'm also hanging out on the YBBB FB page this month. Stop by if you're scrolling Facebooklandia. Lots of authors are doing giveaways, games, and other bits of trivia. Also, I've included another If Fantasy Creatures Could Text segment in this newsletter. And this one is YBBB related, too, as Tuli and Kem discuss Tuli's darling but troublesome bff Shrood. I really, really LOVE writing these exchanges.

Winner of The Paranormal Romance Guild's Reviewers' Choice Awards!

I'm so proud! The Paranormal Romance Guild 2021 Reviewers Choice Awards selected The Demon's in the Details for FIRST PLACE and Fairy and Impartial for SECOND PLACE! I am honored and thrilled to be included, and to have won is simply stunning. Sincere thanks to everyone who loves Poe & Tommy and Twig & Quinn!

Your Book Boyfriend's Boyfriend #YBBB

imageMy entry for #YBBB is Demon for the Win! DFTW is in my Much Ado About Demons universe. You could call it Book .5 because it takes place before In Fair Verona and Must Love Demons. In Fair Verona, you briefly met Kem and Tuli who were trying to get married on a whim. Only it didn't go so well. Demon for the Win is their not-so-cute meet-cute, their romance, and their happily-ever-after. It also has an appearance from my favorite cinnamon roll of an incubus, Nico, and you'll recognize a few other familiar faces as well. You'll also meet a few new characters who have become near and dear to my heart. It's a little over 40,000 words. That's novella length . . . and it's FREE. It can be read as a standalone. The lovely cover is designed by the Ah-Mazing Alex Corza!

Blurb:

Dryad Tuli Cato has 3 rules he lives by: No relationships, no drama, no trouble.

When gorgeous incubus Kem Balthasar offers him a night of no-strings passion, Tuli readily agrees.

Only that no-strings night sure feels like a lot more.

Okay, Tuli has 2 rules he lives by: No drama, no trouble.

Being the sous chef at the most exclusive restaurant in town makes no drama a challenge. Especially when the kitchen’s in an uproar after a staff member turns up dead. Murdered.

Um, Tuli has 1 rule he lives by: No trouble.

Surely, he can stick to this 1 simple rule. . . except it turns out, he might be the murderer’s next target.

Fine. Tuli has 3 GOALS he lives by: date Kem, become the executive chef, stay alive. Not necessarily in that order.

Sounds easy, right?

If you haven't done so already, check out these #YBBB Fantasy romances! They're all great reads and so completely different in plot and tone. Jenn Burke brings a little sci-fi magic, while Sam Burns is in her element with a super sweet and engaging fairytale. Andy Gallo tries his hand at paranormal and kicks off the beginning of a new series, while W.M. Fawkes also kicks off a new series, and hits just the perfect contemporary-gothic note.

If Fantasy Creatures Could Text . . .

For those of you who've read Demon for the Win, you know that Tuli and Kem eventually find their way to their HEA (I mean, there might be a dead body, but it IS a romance 🤣). However, that does not mean they still don't have some, uh, drama. Though Shrood is laid back, he has a way of stirring up trouble. That's the norm with a footloose and fancy free wood elf in a forest with a VERY possessive tree (Sheila) who'd like to become his permanent home. This month Tuli and Kem are stuck bailing him out of a problem of his own making. Enjoy!
