🎙️ Radio Audio: Designing Your 2026 Tech Roadmap with Purpose ➡️

Dec 11, 2025 6:46 pm

Last Monday, I had the opportunity to join Doug Wagner on WMT 600 AM Radio to talk through what I wrote about in this newsletter last week: your 2026 Tech Roadmap—what it is, why it matters, and how to approach it with clarity instead of overwhelm.

The conversation centered on how fast technology is shifting beneath our feet and why building a forward-looking plan is no longer optional. A few highlights from our discussion:

☑️ Roadmaps Are About Decisions, Not Predictions. You don’t need to chase every trend. You do need a structured way to evaluate what matters for your business next year—where tech supports revenue, reduces friction, and strengthens team capacity.

🤖 AI Should Be Treated as a Capability, Not a Gadget. We discussed how AI is moving from “nice-to-have experiments” into core business systems. Companies that learn to layer AI into their workflows—marketing, sales ops, internal processes—get compounding value over time.

🔄 Regular Reviews Are Essential. A roadmap isn’t a document you make once. It’s a rhythm. Checking in quarterly keeps you ahead of risks, aware of new opportunities, and intentional with limited resources.

As we head toward 2026, my message is simple: business technology doesn’t have to be chaotic. With a thoughtful roadmap in place—and a willingness to adapt—you can guide your business into the new year with confidence and momentum.

Talk soon, and me know if I can ever be of help.
