Hello ,
To my valued "Authorized Installers"... It was brought to my attention recently that being called an "Authorized Installer" vs. a "Dealer" might come across as a little less prestigious, so I wanted to elaborate on that and explain why we do so.
Back when we started, we made the decision that all accounts that we partner with MUST provide installation services to create an account. We didn't want to partner with shops that just did retail without providing installation. This is because we wanted to ensure that our customers were receiving a top-notch concierge-style experience with Metalcloak on all facets of their purchase.
For that reason, we chose the phrase "Authorized Installers" instead of dealers. We only wanted qualified folks like you, to assist customers with installation so that they can experience our components to their fullest potential. In addition to that, we direct our customers to you on a daily basis when they are looking for a qualified shop to install their parts nearby.
To be fully transparent, we do have some accounts (small general repair shops, alignment shops, etc) with low-level discounts that have access to various SKU's, but they are not on our map as Authorized Installers. That name is reserved for those that we feel are qualified to do the job right.
Hopefully that makes sense and I'm always available if you'd like to hop on a call to discuss the matter further. We appreciate everything you do to help support our brand and we'll continue to explore new ways to help expand upon our relationship with you.

Rigs & Wrenches: Episode 3
Red Scorpion - Tampa Florida
You've probably seen a few episodes, but we are slowly making our way around to various Authorized Install shops of ours to interview and tour their facilities. While I was down in Florida last month, I got to spend some time in quite a few shops, one being Red Scorpion in Tampa, Florida. Ron does some pretty cool things, so tune and learn more! We also have another new episode going live tomorrow with Brad at Overbuilt Customs (Friday June 20th) so be sure to watch that one as well!
In the off-road world, reputation isn’t built by marketing—it’s built on trails, in garages, and through every call to customer service. So when an AI-driven report ranked Metalcloak with the lowest complaint rate among seven leading off-road suspension brands, we didn’t take it as a bragging right—we took it as confirmation that what we’ve been doing for years is working.
Let’s break down what the research uncovered, how it was gathered, and why it matters—not just to us, but to every Jeeper, off-roader, or weekend warrior looking to build a better rig. (click here for the full report!)
NEW Window Decals coming!
These will be arriving in a few weeks and I'll get them out as soon as possible. In the meantime, toss this up on your website (with a link) and your social media profiles to let the world know that you have access to the best suspension on the planet! There are more downloadable graphics and logos in the jobber portal to use for marketing purposes. You can always reach out to me [email protected] if you need something specific.
Stay in the Know!
Please join the Metalcloak Authorized Installer Group on Facebook if you have not done so already. Tech tips, product releases, general banter and Metalcloak related goodness. It's a great spot to ask questions about install, tech stuff and collaborate with other shops.
