Silver Level Jobber Discounts
Just a reminder, If you are in the Silver Tier, you can ALWAYS get Gold Level Pricing (35% off) on larger suspension orders that have a $5000 retail value or greater. This happens automagically during checkout and you should see something similar to this below if your order meets the criteria.
Please keep this in mind when quoting out your customers and in general when placing your orders. I've seen a few orders come through that were just a little shy of that threshold, and if the jobber had added a small suspension-related item, they would have received Gold-Level Pricing on the entire order.
Gold Zinc Chromate finish
We occasionally get a customer who is not completely satisfied with the final finish on one of their zinc-coated components, for instance a trackbar. It's important for you as the Jobber to let the customer know that due to our diverse manufacturing processes, they may notice variations in the shade or iridescence of our Gold Zinc Chromate finish at times. These aesthetic differences are a natural result of how different steel components react to the chemical plating process and do not impact the product's superior corrosion resistance or structural integrity.
Having said that, if you have a question or customer concern about a finish, try to take care of the customer to the best of your ability and if need be, reach out to us and we can see what we can do. At the end of the day, we want customers to be happy with their purchase.
Our zinc coating can be "enhanced" slightly by using an aftermarket automotive clear coat in a rattle can. This is something that you can choose to offer up to your customer as an option that might keep the gold looking shinier for a longer period of time. It's not necessary, but it does give the gold finish a little more luster and adds an extra level of protection against road grime.

Upol makes a nice quick-drying product that seems to work really well and can be found on Amazon. It's worth it to keep a few of these cans in the shop.
