First Things First: Got Eternal Life?

If the peace of Christ is not ruling in your heart...

It will be hard for the peace of Christ to rule in your marriage.

And if any relationship deserves peace in your life, it's your marriage.

So...

Colossians 3:15

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful."

What is ruling in my heart?

PRAYER:

Father I thank you for this relationship you've blessed me with. Forgive me for letting anything rule my heart, my life, and my marriage outside of your Love, your forgiveness, and the peace of Christ. Help me to see my marriage through a lens of peace. You have called us to peace, so help me to answer Your call. I want to be who you want me to be. I want to show up how you want me to show up. Thank you for loving us enough to give us Your peace. I submit myself and my marriage to You and the peace You have called us to. In Jesus' name, amen.
