Your website just got faster 🚀

Hey ,
40% of your audience will leave your site if it doesn't load within 3 seconds.
Let's learn what Wix is doing to help you & where you can make changes to optimize your website.
Starting in 2021, Wix rolled out a feature called Wix Turbo to boost your website performance automatically. Now, it's integrated deep into the Wix ecosystem, so you won't see them mention "Turbo" anywhere.
If you have been editing your website in the past few weeks, you will likely see some technical improvements.
What is the improved experience?
- Your website loads faster. This includes site content, images, videos, animations and applications that are automatically optimized.
- Your website is available in more places. Wix is using even more servers worldwide for their content delivery network (CDN, the stuff above 👆🏼). This helps boost reliability for higher-traffic websites, and helps to load your website faster for visitors from all around the world.
What does this mean for your website?
- You can raise your conversion rates. By having a faster and more responsive website, people will feel more engaged with your content. This also increases your visitor's time on your website, helping you with sales or growing your email list.
- You can increase your customer loyalty. When your site performs better, it helps to increase your brand perception. This excellent experience encourages your users to return to your website again. Think of a great night out at a restaurant. You're very likely to return again.
- You can improve your website's SEO ranking. Search engines, like Google, look at your website's loading time and page experience to help determine where you rank. Therefore, having a faster website will help to improve your search discoverability.
Where can you check your website's performance?
Good question. I'm glad you asked. 😉
I would recommend using the tool from Wix called Site Speed in your Wix Dashboard. Find it using Wix Universal Search.
Plus, Wix integrates Google's own PageSpeed Insights into the Site Speed tool.
Access Site Speed in your Wix Analytics tools:
- Go to the Analytics & Reports page in your Wix site dashboard.
- Under Performance Analysis, select "Site Speed".
