Dear Family,

Chances are that at some point in your life, you've heard the saying: "If you're surrounded by four broke people, you're probably the fifth." 

It's a reminder/warning to be mindful of the energy and mindset of the people you allow into your life. One of the reasons my parents sent me to St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, NJ, was to surround me with individuals who would challenge and uplift me. This school had a reputation for developing young men into leaders—people who aimed for excellence and refused to settle for mediocrity. The environment was filled with ambition, drive, and an understanding that success is often a collective effort.

When we talk about the company we keep, we must remember that it's not just about financial status but values, goals, and aspirations. 

Are the people in your circle encouraging you to strive for more? Do they inspire you to grow or pull you down with their limiting beliefs? The conversations we engage in and the perspectives we absorb can have a significant impact on our own growth.

As you navigate your journey, take a moment to assess the relationships in your life. 

Are they lifting you up or holding you back? If the latter, it may be time to cut ties. The right support system can make all the difference in achieving your dreams and aspirations. We need an inner circle that empowers each other to reach new heights.

Let this be a reminder to choose yours wisely.
