Dear Family,

During last night's Bridge Builder session, a few attendees opened up about feeling behind in their financial journeys and expressed embarrassment for not taking action sooner. 

I want to remind you that it’s never too late to start. What’s done is done; all we can do is focus on the present. Growing up, I often heard the Chinese proverb: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second best time is now.” Life is too short to dwell on the "shoulda, woulda, couldas." 

We have to channel our energy into moving forward with the knowledge and skills we have today.

This mindset applies not just to our finances but also to our health, personal goals, and relationships. Think about Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas, two NBA All-Stars and best friends who reconnected after nearly two decades apart. They chose to embrace one another and heal old wounds while they still had the chance before it was too late.

They didn't wait any longer, and neither should you. Take that first step, And remember, It’s never too late to start.
