The old system of worship and its rituals highlighted the limitations of accessing God's holiness. It served as a temporary arrangement until the coming of Christ, who inaugurated a new covenant that brings true transformation and a personal relationship with God, surpassing external rules and rituals. Only through faith in Christ can our hearts be cleansed and made new.
