Hi :
Thanks for being part of my community! Today, I'm sharing:

My Upcoming Book — Cover Sneak Peek!
After a lot of discussion and some iteration on the subtitle... the title and subtitle are locked in:
The Mistakes That Make Us: Cultivating a Culture of Learning and Innovation
One reason to lock this down is to help finalize the book's front cover design. I am working with a fantastic artist (a friend I've known for 40 years) on the cover. It's been a fun, iterative process. Chapter 7 of the book is titled "Iterate Your Way to Success," and I hope that's what we are doing here.
Again, this is a glimpse at the top part of the front cover. You might recognize that the lettering resembles the "My Favorite Mistake" podcast logo (designed by the same friend). The theme of mistakes is illustrated in a few creative ways -- and hopefully, it represents a somewhat playful tone I take in a book about a pretty serious subject.
I'm close to finishing the manuscript for this book about creating a culture of learning from mistakes. I mean "cultivating." That was another iteration, from "creating" to "cultivating."
I'm now anticipating its launch in mid-2023 (June?). I was wrong about the previously-expected March date. My mistake! Writing the book has been a very iterative process, but I'm happy about the way it's taking shape. I hope you'll be happy with it too!

To celebrate 200 episodes of the "My Favorite Mistake" podcast, I decided to be the guest... and I'm giving away three logo coffee mugs.
Good luck!
