This Vegas hotel might actually be haunted…

There’s something about old Vegas that doesn’t quite let go.
And if you’ve ever stepped inside the El Cortez, you know exactly what I mean.
Tucked just off Fremont Street, the El Cortez isn’t trying to compete with the mega-resorts on the Strip. It’s something else entirely—older, grittier, and full of stories that didn’t get erased when the city modernized.
Some people will tell you it’s just history.
Others will tell you it’s something more.
Over the years, guests and staff have reported shadowy figures moving through hallways, unexplained knocking late at night, and even the occasional story of disembodied hands appearing where they shouldn’t.
There’s also plenty of talk about the basement—where the energy, depending on who you ask, feels a little… off.
Now to be clear—none of this is scientifically proven.
But that’s not really the point...
Because Las Vegas runs on stories.
And the El Cortez has one of the longest memories in town, with deep ties to the city’s early mob era. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, it’s the kind of place where you feel like something happened… and maybe never fully left.
Which is exactly why we’re doing something a little different on April 17th.
We’re teaming up with Vegas Afterlife for a networking + ghost tour experience through downtown Las Vegas—where you’ll hear the real stories behind places like the El Cortez while walking the same streets where it all happened.
This isn’t your typical “name tag and small talk” kind of event.
It’s meant to be immersive. A little weird. And a lot more memorable than your average happy hour.
This is a relaxed, small-group experience—just 18 total spots—designed to bring good people together for something genuinely memorable.
Feel free to bring your spouse or partner, just note this is an 18+ event, so it’s probably not one for the kids.
Cost is $50 per person, paid directly to the tour company.
To secure your spot:

Select “Walking Ghost Tour” for April 17 at 8:00 PM.
After purchasing and signing the waiver, email Julianna at [email protected] so we can confirm your attendance.
Bring business cards, comfortable shoes, and good vibes.
I’ve heard a lot of you say you wanted a different kind of networking experience… and honestly, it doesn’t get much more different than this.
