Hey folks,

I first came to Nevada in 2017.

I came on someone else's dime to speak at a conference where I flew back-of-the-plane economy class, and had to share a room for two nights with 5 other people.

I was 22 years old at the time, and dead convinced this would be my one and only chance to ever come to Vegas.

The venue coordinator never gave me my meal vouchers, I lost a ton of money on slots, and on the way back to Washington D.C., the TSA confiscated my brand new leather dress shoes I bought the week prior.

All in all, a pretty memorable experience, and one with some extra funny tales we can talk about another time...

However, that didn't end up my one and only trip.

Bachelor parties (some I can talk about, some can't), conferences, work trips, random "Screw it! Let's go to Vegas!" vacations with my wife... it just seemed like I kept getting pulled back here.

After four years and four jobs while living in Wisconsin, it became clear to Julianna and I that as soon as Marketer on the Run got up and running, we needed a new change of scenery.

Within a year and a half of running the agency, we're now in sunny Henderson, closer to family, working with amazing clients and actually excited for what the future holds.

If you had told me a decade ago I'd be living here (especially with a wife and a cat) I'd think you were crazy.

Thank God for the unexpected and the unrealized opportunities.

Life isn't always what you expect it to be... sometimes it's more.
