A Single Edge "Slant" Razor?

I recently had a chance to try the new Above The Tie (ATT) X1 Single Edge (SE) Slant Safety Razor. It uses single edge "barber blades" (like Feather Professional, Feather Artist Club, or Kai Captain) which are longer and thicker than the typical double edge blade.

The "slant" design looks quite modest visually compared to a typical double edge slant design. Of course, since it's a single edge design and SE blades don't have nearly the same "depth" as a double edge blade, torquing may not look as obvious.

ATT says the razor is "mid aggressive" and I largely agree with that: there's a fair amount of blade feel, too.
