I’ve had the chance to play around with the Supply Trimmer. As someone who’s used a fair few grooming tools in my time, and having been familiar with Supply’s reputation for their single-edge razors, I was definitely intrigued when they launched this new product. So I bought one to put through its paces.

  • Alpha Shaving Works is exiting the shave brush business and will concentrate on razors and other projects.
  • Dr. Selby products will no longer be distributing in North America (Dr. Selby is out of Uruguay). Unfortunately, new government requirements have made it economically unfeasible for them to continue operations. Look for discounts on their shave soap and (brushless) shave cream.
  • There was a huge, block-encompassing fire in downtown Adrian, Michigan, across the street from Maggard Razors over the weekend. However Maggard did not suffer damage and no one was hurt.
  • Accutec, US manufacturer of shaving hardware (razors and blades) has announced an 8% surcharge on all products to cover tariff costs.
  • Blackland has made a minor update to their Osprey adjustable razor. Cosmetic changes only--a new lathe-turned finish and they changed the knob to new laser engravings for better contrast and visibility.
