Today I would like us to start our parenting mindset series with a discussion on Genograms. But before we get into that, let us define the term parenting mindset? Managing Families defines the parenting mindset as the frame of mind that we must adopt for ourselves as individuals to make our parenting easier and hopefully a success. The aim; that our children can survive and thrive without us, specifically that our children can physically, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically survive and thrive without us!
