Just ship it

Nov 24, 2024 9:18 pm

Hello, my 61 subscribers,

As the title said, ship it! I will explain what happened last week.

Content:

Sunday is my content day (I'd like to change the habit and record more content during the week) last week, while recording a video (the Helicone and cost operations (very narrow use case) I though the video would work and was very happy about it (I was wrong). I decided to record a video of Windsurf the same day (so getting 2 pieces of content). While I discovered the software in itself and came up with a Micro SaaS idea while I was literally testing the IDE, I thought I would record a video as I felt excellent about the IDE.

While editing, I thought the video would flop, and I almost did not post it as I thought it was too basic or people would judge the code (I came from that fear in my past community experience, where seniors would judge every single line of code and comment—a very toxic community :P ). I finally decided to post it, saying, "What could I lose?" Everything seems to have aligned. This has been my top performer video!

brought +61 subscribers on the channel and counting 2.7k views after 7days in this has been my best performing early video so far

So, the TLDR of this is: JUST SHIP IT. Who cares? People will find it helpful at some point.

Community:

I'm still working on an announcement that is coming up next; some of you know already. I successfully gave a 1h40 workshop yesterday to a private group of people on getting their self-hosted n8n instance hosted on their VPS server. Which was successful,

  • 10min introduction
  • 30min n8n setup with HTTPS certificate and domain name pointing
  • 1h going through an Agent live built doing research competitor

They were all windblown away, and it was an overall great experience; we had the usual struggle with some of the GCP service, but hey! :)

I'm sharing both scenarios with you today in the newsletter, available to download on my drive

Business:

I have decided to invest in some heavy tools for the cold email outreach and refine some of my icebreaker generation scenarios; if you guys want to see some of the campaign stats I'd be running shortly, please do reach out I still read and answer every one of you :)

Thank you for the continuous support you provide, I'm enjoying the newsletter creation, and I hope you enjoy reading it

Happy making! Press 1 when you finish your automation! (for those who don't have the reference, this is what I ask every time on my build call to ensure everyone is following; it became such a meme I had to print a t-shirt with the below design generated at the time with Ideogram) :)
