Hey guys weekly Update - 4/4

Hello 46 subscribers!

Today's week is about tips and tricks I've used over the last week but first

💵 Business update:

  • Do you remember the client I mentioned last week about closing it without a sales call? Well, it turns out I had to jump on a call 😅 but it was worth it as he signed, and we agreed on a weekly catch-up call every Friday. This is underrated, in my opinion, but having a clear communication strategy will help you in the long run ("Do you prefer a weekly call? Daily email? WhatsApp group? ...)
  • I'm shuffling a lot in my head but there is something new coming shortly - more shortly :) my vision, my brand :)

🧩 Tricks and tips automation wise:

I don't know why I didn't think about it earlier. If you are mapping a lot of Airtable from blueprint to blueprint, I suggest you watch the latest video I've recorded. This is a game changer when mapping productized blueprints to clients!

🎥 Avoid this mistake in Make with Airtable module to gain in efficiency

I'm also trying to move away from Google Drive regarding blob storage (a cloud storage service for saving your content). Google Drive was not designed for this, Dropbox is awful, and making anything accessible requires some shenanigans.

I'm testing recently https://cloudinary.com/ which on the free plan provides 25Gb of data (enough for my need) as I'm uploading all my social generation images/video as we speak. So far, so good - I don't have to worry about permission; this is like a real bucket instead of being worried about shareable links, etc... :)

💎 Gems of the week (new edition)

I'm testing this in the newsletter, please let me know if this is something you'd like to see continued.

I follow a lot of open-source projects, This week, I stumble upon this;

https://github.com/pontusab/cursor.directory

If you use Cursor, you know how important rules are. In the repo, you have many Cursor prompts ready for your settings!

Thank you for reading and providing feedback as I accompany the newsletter! I so far enjoy taking the 40-60 minutes typing the email, helping me to refocus sometime!

Thank you everyone!
