Hey friend,

Last year you signed up to receive email updates from me. I have a rule with the work I create— I don't ship junk. There's way too much subpar content out there. This rule applies to any project I work on. Which is why I haven't sent an email update in awhile. The last thing I wanted to do was flood your inbox with random updates, adding to the noise.

I feel creatives are at the mercy of staying atop the attention curve which means spending more time churning out emails, social posts, and not focusing on the work. I decided to focus on the work and go dark for awhile.

Now I'm back from my cave, Seattle is as dark and damp as a cave, and I have some exciting things to share.

Two New Publications

I've spent the last year focusing on client projects and producing my short film, (more on that in another newsletter). I've also built a new publication I'm extremely proud of called Barn Burnt Down, in-depth stories with no ads or click-bait.

Next is a relaunch of my blog, here I'll publish weekly posts around creativity and projects I'm working on.

What you can expect

This newsletter delivers my best content for the week. It showcases what I'm writing, reading, and enjoying. I love sharing interesting things with my audience and will always ensure it passes my high-bar of quality.
