June 2022 Events, Opportunities & Connections!
Hola ,
Pardon the random holiday graphic. 😁
👇👇Here are the actual deets.👇👇
Incoming are this week's events, job openings, resources, and opportunities.
Pero first, I just wanted to shout out and celebrate the fact that two Latina activists and entrepreneurs, Jess Morales Rocketto and Stephanie Valencia have raised $80 million to launch a new Hispanic media company called the Latino Media Network.
This is just another example of the world slowly catching up to the fact that Latina entrepreneurs are killing it.
If nothing else, let this be your inspiration to...
REMEMBER TO TAKE ACTION.

Come work with me! The University of Utah, Dream Center is doing a national search, hiring for the following two positions:
- Dream Center Director - Salary range is $80,000 - $100,000
- Program Coordinator - Salary range is $47,000 - $49,000
For either position please do not let the "preferred" degree section deter you from applying. As we all know the ivory tower within higher education continues to impact and exclude our experiences as undocumented, as some of us have the education required for many of these positions but no SSN or work authorization. Then, our DACAmented and first-gen professionals continue to struggle to access positions due to lack years of experience.
