Hi, I'm Lucia and I want to welcome you to my newsletter. I'm so glad to have you with me on this journey.

A little about me. As my bio says, I'm 45 and live in Nebraska with my 13-year-old diva of a dog, MoMo.

Writing has always been a creative outlet for me, as it is for so many others.

I will send a newsletter, once a month, on the 4th of every month, to let you know what's going on in my world and to let you get to know me. There will also be writing updates and bookish goodies for you!

Writing Shattered Innocence has been a two-year-long journey for me. It has come with many ups and downs. There have been many times I've wanted to throw in the towel and call it quits. My support system encouraged me to continue. I am forever grateful I did.

I can't find the words to describe what it feels like to have finally finished this book and set it up for pre order. To be able to say, "I am a published author" and it not just be words of encouragement or something I say to tell myself to keep going. I've done it. My dream since my Mom handed me my first Danielle Steele book when I was thirteen is finally coming true.

Kiara's story is not a happy one. She has dealt with a lot of trauma. But she has risen above it all, and continues to keep going. The main message of this story is no matter what your life is, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. But sometimes we need help finding it.
