Let's understand Emotional Exhaustion & its impact

I'm sure you may have used Google Maps several times, and may also have several anecdotes, some humorous, some more serious, when you lost your way, and Google Maps assisted you in finding clarity and direction.
How about being at Life's turning point?
While we may often find ourselves in this area, there is no Google Map marking it or highlighting it—look here: you are at a turning point!
How then would you know that you are at a LIFE's turning point?
You know it when you find yourself repeating the same pattern of behaviours and a subtle, hidden feeling of being stuck, not literally, but as if there's a feeling of emotional exhaustion.
This exhaustion is expressed physically.
How?
Every time that particular issue crops up, which is keeping you stuck in a pattern, you take a deep sigh! and want to keep it on the back burner and say to yourself, "I will think about it later, not now!"
These thoughts and feelings are working beneath your conscious mind and are always active, even though you believe you have conveniently thrown them into a back burner (while there is no such location called backburner in the brain).
All thoughts keep churning in our subconscious because our brain constantly listens to everything we think and tell ourselves.
This is precisely the reason why you take a deep sigh! feel exhausted and continue to repeat your patterns in behaviour, in thought, and the REPEAT is what keeps you stuck!
A vicious circle with no way out.
Understand the Circle
Look out for this vicious circle, which indicates several key things about your current situation.
- You are at a life-turning point (a phase of your life that demands firm decisions) ---> which then makes you feel---> emotionally exhausted in this space
- The emotional exhaustion stems from a pattern you are repeating (unknown to you), and that pattern keeps you stuck.
What are patterns? Patterns are combinations of our thoughts and behaviours that we demonstrate repeatedly.
- Repeating it brings you back to the same outcomes, and you feel: 'I'm back to square one!'
Having now understood the vicious circle, let's take the next step
The best way to assess yourself is to write it all down, so go grab a pen and a notebook and think about anything in the recent past that's been on your mind.
Think about ---> what has been draining you, and is something which you often do not want to deal with head-on, instead you prefer it to be sent back to the back burner of your mind or want to procrastinate, or at least change the topic, both inside your head and even outside if discussing it with someone.
This is where the roots of your pattern and the exhaustion lie.
Look carefully and reflect deeply.

Emotional exhaustion or Burnout does not happen overnight, but is a result of many tiny exhaustions compiled over several years, just like weathering, and when we keep neglecting it, the same manifests in the form of various physical and mental ailments
Burnout left untreated is like a slow-burning fire; what begins as exhaustion can grow into anxiety, depression, weakened immunity, and chronic illness.
