Hi

In today’s dynamic market, effective marketing doesn’t always have to mean high costs.

Our focus during the Linkedin Audio Event on 24th Nov 2023 was on leveraging low-cost/no-cost marketing platforms to create a significant impact.

Remember, the essence of marketing is about making the customer feel understood and valued.

Embrace the Visual Power of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts are at the forefront of no-cost marketing platforms. These platforms are ideal for businesses where visuals play a crucial role.

For instance, financial advisors can use YouTube Shorts to share bite-sized, easily digestible information, drawing viewers to longer video content or other digital properties.

YouTube, in its bid to compete with TikTok and Instagram Reels, is currently promoting Shorts content, making it an opportune time for businesses to jump on this trend.

LinkedIn: A Goldmine for Low-Cost Marketing

LinkedIn has evolved into a social network similar to what Facebook was in 2013-14.

The platform is encouraging more users to become content creators, rewarding them with initiatives like the "Top Voice" program.

However, LinkedIn remains an underutilised tool in many marketing strategies. Here’s how you can change that:

  • Write for Your Customers: Avoid overthinking. Focus on creating content that resonates with your audience.

  • Network Optimisation: Clean up your network. Ensure the majority of your connections are potential customers or influencers in your industry.

  • Effective Examples: Take inspiration from the likes of SajithKumar from Replicon. Their company page, primarily focused on recruitment marketing, shares valuable tips and tricks on jobs, celebrates company milestones, and aims at attracting top talent.

  • Marketing in 15 Minutes a day: Dedicate just 15 minutes a day to LinkedIn marketing. Answer a question on collaborative articles, or share a post about a conversation you had with a potential customer. These small steps can lead to significant engagement.

In conclusion, marketing success doesn’t always require deep pockets. It's about smart strategies and making the most of the platforms available to you. By understanding and utilising the unique strengths of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, you can effectively reach and engage your audience without breaking the bank.

Happy Marketing!

15 Minustes may not be enough .. but yes the power of Linkedin is incredibly under estimated. I know ... I spent a ton of time and some money on FB... the same on LI would have yielded 100 times better results.
