A retirement blind spot worth thinking about

Hi ,

I recently wrote a short LinkedIn newsletter on something I often see with pre-retirees:

Many people have CPF, savings, insurance policies and investments.

But when salary stops, the question changes.

It is no longer just: “How much do I have?”

It becomes:

“Which part of my assets will pay me every month?”

And what happens if markets are down when I need the money?

I thought this article may be useful if you are starting to think about retirement income, not just retirement savings.

You can read it here:

Hope it gives you a useful perspective.
