The back-up plan

Happy Wednesday, !
I had one of "those" weeks a while back. It felt like I was running just to stay in place.
I know you've been there too. It's exhausting!
Between unexpected personal-life stuff, appointments, work, random issues (hello, malfunctioning car, I'm looking at you!)… it felt impossible to stick with my routine.
Fortunately, I've been doing this long enough to know this one hidden truth:
Consistency doesn't mean doing the same thing every day or every week.
It means knowing your baseline: the habits you stick with no matter what comes at you.
✅ Start with just one thing. Begin your morning with one or two simple good-for-you actions like drinking a glass of water, eating a protein-rich breakfast, or writing your top three priorities.
✅ Think "minimums," not "maximums." Focus on doable actions like taking a 10-minute walk instead of a 60-minute workout.
✅ Make a Plan B. Stick with a short list of foundational habits for busy weeks, like a 15-minute strength workout or a low-sugar snack.
✅ Acknowledge that "perfect" doesn't exist. (And if it did, it'd be boring.) Missing a workout or meal prep doesn't erase your progress. It's just one data point in a much bigger picture.
Consistency is about being adaptable and finding ways to show up for yourself even when your schedule doesn't cooperate.
The goal isn't to control every day… It's about keeping things coming back to what works for you!
Keep up the good work,
