Happy Monday, !

Have you ever noticed that some mornings you wake up and just don't feel hungry?

It seems convenient… one less thing to do before you start your day.

But your body might be sending a message.

Here's what could be happening:

🥘 Still full from last night's dinner. If you eat a big or late dinner, your body is still digesting while you sleep, which disrupts the hormones that regulate hunger (ghrelin + leptin). That can leave you less hungry in the morning but more snacky later.

☕ Caffeine first, food later. Coffee temporarily suppresses appetite. If you grab your latte before breakfast, you might feel alert… but you're not truly fueled. When the caffeine wears off, you crash and crave food.

🔥 Stress hormones on high alert. If you start your day stressed, your hormones can dull hunger. That's why some busy individuals who feel "too busy to eat" early in the day find themselves ravenous at night.

🥗 Under-eating earlier in the day. If you skip meals or eat small ones, your hunger cues get confused. Your metabolism slows, and your body stops sending reliable signals about when to eat.

If any of this sounds familiar, try this:

✅ Have a lighter, earlier dinner if you can. You'll sleep better!

✅ Wait 30 minutes before coffee (and drink water first).

✅ Eat something within an hour of waking, even if it's Greek yogurt, a protein shake, or a banana with peanut butter.

✅ Notice how you feel mid-morning and at lunch. If you’ve got more energy and fewer cravings… that means your body's catching on.

It’s really not that hard to get your body back to its normal daily rhythm if you’re intentional about it! :-

Make it an amazing evening,
