Risk-Averse? Your Business Might Be Paying the Price.

Hey ,

With zero risk appetite, it’s better to live off of charity.

Business owners are so scared of risk.

Especially financial risk.

I see countless businesses never reaching their potential because the owner has this “hate” relationship with “expenses”.

They are the ones who want profit before making an investment.

They want minimum expenses, maximum benefits.

They want the cheapest of employees to deliver CXO level results.

My favourite one is when a business owner told me they want a 20-30X return from a 20k/month team member.

Funnily enough they were not looking to invest in this employee.

Simply hire them, and demand 20X.

That’s some mind bending shit.

There is no guarantee in business and life.

That’s the whole point.

You hire 10 people, and 8 or 9 will disappoint you.

That’s the risk you have to take.

This will require time, money and energy from you.

The ones that invest in their business not just financially but as a leader are the ones who see exponential growth.

Because they took the risk.

If you are so scared of risk, then stop getting in a car everyday.

Statistically speaking that’s the greatest risk we take every single day.

You could potentially never return home.

What’s a bigger risk?

Your life or the investment you make in your business?

Cheers,

Nikhil
