When one question kills your confidence in sales

Most business owners want someone to just sell for them.

Because let’s be honest, sales is a whole different game.

It’s vulnerable. It’s uncertain. It puts you on the spot.

And if you’ve ever been in a sales conversation where a single unexpected question shattered your confidence, you know what I mean.

I was speaking to a client recently.

He had won a massive contract last year.

But one follow-up question from the client, one he couldn’t answer, tanked his confidence for months.

Sales came to a halt.

Now we’re rebuilding.

Not with more templates.

But by grounding him in the one thing that doesn’t shake when questions do: his presence.

Because the point of selling isn't to have all the answers.

It's to stay in the conversation.

To actually listen.

To actually connect.

And to serve from there.

Sales, to me, has become exactly that,

A way to connect deeply with the people I want to serve.

To listen for what they really need.

And to see how I can help them get it.

If sales has felt heavy or frustrating lately,

There’s a gentler, more powerful way to do it.

I recorded a short video sharing what’s worked for me, and what I’m still learning.

Watch it. And if it lands, let’s talk.

Let’s build your sales conversation from the inside out.
