Are you thriving or just surviving?

There are 2 types of business owners.
➡️ Type 1 - Strategic. Growth oriented. Great work-life balance.
➡️ Type 2 - A firefighter. Survival oriented. No balance whatsoever.
The difference between the 2? Continue reading…
✅ Type 1:
1. Understand they cannot do everything alone so they focus on building the right team and systems so that the business can run without them.
2. Make sure their team makes decisions and solves problems so that they are free to focus on growth instead of being responsible for every little thing.
3. They understand their time is limited and they make sure they balance all aspects of business and life (aka, time with family and personal well being).
4. They stay away from the rate race of more, more and more. They remain focused on creating value for their marketplace.
5. Freedom is their birth right and a value they live by and protect no matter what.
✅ Type 2:
1. Have zero belief in systems, they feel systems don’t work in their business. Hence, nothing can happen without their direct involvement because they are the system themselves.
2. Operate on a low-level of trust; make all the decisions and solve all problems themselves. They are stuck in the day-to-day operations.
3. They take time for granted, living each day as it comes, they believe “when my business is bigger I will automatically have more time for myself and my family”. That day never really comes.
4. They are badly stuck in the rat race of more is better, they can never have enough.
5. They have no freedom whatsoever, living in their own prison called “my business”.
It all comes down to how you choose to run your business and life.
The choice can be made today with everything intact the way it is, good, bad or ugly.
That is the challenge you need to take head on and overcome.
If you don’t do it now, the day when your business is “bigger” your problems will be bigger.
Waiting for the day when things get better is nothing but a self-constructed lie.
Your happiness and well being matter every single day you are alive.
Don’t put a “business success” condition on it which is at some point in the future that you have no control over.
Do you prioritise your well being as an entrepreneur?
Cheers,
Nikhil
