Freedom comes with responsibility.

Example: We have given our daughter all the freedom she wants.

She is free to create a mess at home.

She is free to express herself.

She is free to make her own choices.

But all the freedom comes with responsibility.

If she is free to create a mess she is responsible to clean up that mess… not easy to get a 6 year old to agree to this, but we try.

If she is free to make her choices she is responsible for her choices.

If she is free to express herself then she is responsible for her feelings.

It’s the same in business.

And for you.

You have absolute freedom to do what you want, when you want and how you want.

But you feel stuck.

You feel you don’t have the freedom.

Because you are not taking full responsibility for your freedom.

You are not doing the work you know you need to do to get out of the mess you are in.

Typically, this means you are not building the team you need to.

And, you are not systemising your business.

You are either looking for shortcuts or not doing the work at all and complaining how things are terrible in your business.

Nobody became successful overnight.

Nobody stumbled upon success.

Everyone who you think is successful has gone through exactly what you are going through.

The difference is they did the work they were supposed to do.

They didn’t abuse their freedom.

They used it to their advantage with full responsibility.
