I recently finished watching the recording of a phenomenal masterclass by Chris Dorris (CD).

CD is one of the faculty members in AJC.

And I wasn’t ready for it.

There’s a moment in the masterclass when CD asks a question around how much money can you imagine you can get ahold of in a year?

The number $100,000.00 instantly popped in my head.

Then he held up a pen holder with 5-6 pens in it and asked us how many pens can you take out of the pen holder.

My answer was “all of them”.

What came next hit me hard.

Why is it when it came to money I only thought of $100,000.00 and not all of it?

For some reason when it comes to taking the pens my conditioning is I can take of all of them.

Its so simple and easy.

But when it comes to money it was extremely limited.

Clearly in my mind it was not simple and easy.

Interestingly enough, January 2025 was the biggest month in terms of sales in the history of my company.

Yet, I realised I had such a massive blindspot within me.

The exercise opened my eyes and my mind that resulted in a massive shift internally.

I shared it with my wife later that day and she had a similar reaction.

Needless to say that one simple moment by CD opened the floodgates for us..

We have now shifted our language when it comes to money to “all of it”.

That’s what I am going for in 2025 and beyond.

All of it.
