Description: Jennifer will share proven strategies and concepts for you to enhance your communication, sales, and professionalism in business. She will share how to decode other people's professional body language as well as how to encode and present ourselves as professionals in business incorporating the human approach. She will discuss how even with the utilization of AI tools, we still need to embrace compassion and understanding in business. Jen will use real scenarios and examples to enhance our unspoken communication to display understanding, listening, and cooperation in the workplace. This is a must-know in business!


Speaker Bio:

Jennifer McCloskey is the owner of Girardi Associates, an Executive Coaching, Organizational Change, and Corporate Training company. Her coaching and workshops have been well received by several corporations including Lululemon, Amazon, WSSC, Hewlett-Packard, Department of the Navy, Northrop Grumman, churches, athletic communities, and numerous Universities throughout the United States, as well as in South Africa and India. She has been a Keynote speaker at several Earth Day events and was the feature of a CBS Evening News story on Women in Non-traditional Roles as a civil engineer.


Jennifer is a thirty-three-year volunteer at a home for children and mothers in Washington DC. Jennifer offers insight in her first book, Put Comfortable Shoes in my Coffin, where she shares heartfelt stories and life lessons. In Person Gathering for Coaches Coffee Participants

The After Dinner Coaches Coffee is hosting an in-person event next month. We'd love to see you and would appreciate some help spreading the word:


All area ICF members are invited to Coffee and Connection, an in-person social event hosted by the After Dinner Coaches Coffee. We'll have a chance to meet outside of Zoom, and share more about who we are and the work that we do. Folks are welcome to come for some or all of the event as they are able. No CCEUs will be given for this event and it is in addition to our monthly coffee on that Tuesday.


When: Friday, April 17, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Where: the Reed Cooke Cafe at 1630 Columbia Rd NW in Adams Morgan, inside of The Silva, walking distance from the Columbia Heights Metro
