THE BREEDIND GROUND.

Dear ,
Let me tell you a little thing about the "breeding ground" the scripture talks a lot about it too.
One story that readily comes to mind is the parable of the sower, it talks of a shower that sowed seeds indiscriminately. Some fell on rocky ground, some on the ground with thorns and others on rich soil.
The thing about each of these grounds is that the seeds 'survived' for a while but only the seeds sown in rich soil could thrive because it was the only ground that posses what the plant needed for the long haul.
This can be likened to parenting, with your child as the seed.
In chapter 1 of my book" Mentor Parent" I talked about the breeding ground... Your home, the school, the people, the mindset and ideas that they sympathise with and the energy they exude will all come to play.
...and the question you want to ask yourself as a parent is this ;
What is the quality of the ground where my child is growing?
Who has access to my child and what is my child accessing?
Where and how am I nurturing this child.
Dear parent,
Don't be carried away by temporal results and lose sight of the breeding ground.
That is where stamina, pedigree, doggedness, confidence and more are built one last piece of advice, never downplay the power of mentorship and role models in your child's life.
