One moment you have a toddler running all around your home and the next moment they are preteens getting set for their teenage years which marks the end of active parenting.

This period between toddlerhood and teenagehood is the most evasive or tricky time of your parenting.

Why is this? Because many parents are caught between seeing their children as little children who still depend on them completely and recognising that they have grown in the years that followed and should be getting set for adolescence.

Only for us to realize that we have unskilled teenagers who are laid back or outrightly rebellious. Trust me, this isn't what you want for yourself or that child, because it takes way too much from everyone.
