When I told the children I have never had a fight or exchanged harsh words with a single one of my friends , my son was like "really mummy?"

Then I was like , oh , Aunty Ene and I had a 5 minutes bickering session once at Aunty Alu's bridal shower after 11years of friendship. 😄

Guess what, it took a 5minutes phone call to laugh at how silly it was , 10 years later, and I can't even remember what it was about .😄

They went on to mention each of my inner circle of friends , "how about Aunty...

( trust me they didn't miss a single one ! Even my 6year old knows who my friends are😀)

As I said to them, this is not to say we never argue, have different views or misunderstand each other. Oh we do, but I also know, understand and respect each of them , and this helps me manage my relationship with them.

It is a choice.

Friendship like every other relationships must be built and nurtured and it begins with knowing how to choose the right friends .
