PRESERVE YOUR CHILD'S INNOCENCE
Nov 09, 2021 10:04 pm
I get the honour to peek into people's life by virtue of what I do , and some of the things people are going through are deep .
Sometimes when I'm done reading messages or speaking with some people, my heart is heavy .
As a former 'crying baby' ( I remember going for a NLP workshop once those early days as a coach and I ended up crying big tears o, just listening to a woman share her story with everyone)
In one of the messages I had recently, as the lady started talking about her experience, I listened with a knowing smile . It was a very familiar one. A tale of Ignorance messing up with the innocence of yet another child.
👉That child you hand a phone to when they haven't learnt to be safe online.
👉That child you give access to your smart T.V without effective supervision
👉That child you leave with unqualified domestic workers.
Ever wondered how easily these things above can rid your child of their innocence?
Dear parents,
♦️ I know the pressure to be out there pushing is real.
♦️I know you want to gift your kids tech toys and gadgets after all they are the reason you are pushing .
♦️I know you have work to do and you have to assign most of their care to your domestic staff.
I know and I respect your challenges.
However, think about how easily these challenges can rid your child of their innocence.
⚠️With the gadget and smart T.V, just one click of the wrong button and the rest is history.
⚠️With the domestic staff, just one wrong mindset , one negative habit , one abuse and the rest is history.
📌 What I'm say is this , why don't you look at your systems this week and re-build structures that are effective and put the INTEREST of the child as priority.
📌 You may need to make some sacrifices or simply rebuild a solid support system in your home .
You can check out our Structure Guide with about a dozen templates that can be used to create an effective system at home.
Send us a message on 08130621566 or type structure guide and we will respond to you.
Purposeful parents know the importance of preserving their children's innocence by empowering them with knowledge and they avoid setting their children up for failure.
Have a great week ahead!
