Cairns proved to be disappointing with unseasonable cool weather and heaps of rain. Certainly not the bright sunny, 30 degree something we usually have at this time of year. After three weeks there, we moved south to Atherton and the weather was every bit as disappointing but it is usual for the town. We are now in Townsville, making our way toward home where I can begin getting ready for my trip to New Zealand next month.
