Hi Everyone

We have now arrived in Cairns, Far North Queensland, one of my most favourite places on earth, where we will be staying for the next three weeks before we commence working our way back south so I can ready for New Zealand in September. The weather as usual is warm days and balmy nights, much better for me than shivering down south.

Since my last newsletter there has been a lot of political upheaval and chaos in several countries around the world and Australia is not exempt from decisions made by those in authority that have us shaking our heads. Although I am aware of daily news, I don't make it a necessary part of my daily life. Losing oneself in a book is often a nice escape and I hope you find something in the selection below that piques your interest.
